Our Story

It was the year 1988, when some of our profound community leaders started to plant seeds to form Indo-American Cultural and Religious Foundation (IACRF) of Arizona. The Foundation was formed to encourage unity and community activities to enhance our sanskruti. The Community Hall was built as a space for celebrations uniting the whole Indian Community for Diwali, Holi, Navratri, Mahashivratri and major festivals from across Bharat.

Inspiration to build The Ekta Mandir was led by PP His Holiness Rameshbhai Oza (Bhaishri) in the 2002 Shrimad Bhagavat Katha. With that inspiration, land was purchased in 2002 to build Ekta Mandir and the Mandir construction was completed in 2007. With tireless efforts and great contributions by many of our great leaders who still lead the temple operations today. The new generation and the vast Indian community is blessed with divine experience at every function. On major festivals, over 5,000+ devotees come to the temple for Darshan. This monumental task would not have been possible without the guidance of PP His Holiness Bhaishri and devotion from community leaders.

We are delighted to announce Shrimad Bhagavat Katha in Phoenix from June 3rd-10th at IACRF Hall, across from The Ekta Mandir of Phoenix. All are welcome to join with family and friends. The hall has gone through a major renovation and continues to provide unifying space for the entire community. IACRF would like to thank you for your contributions and generosity.
